In Unit 7: Teaching New Language, the content describes how to go about teaching vocabulary, grammar and functions. This unit asserts from the start that whatever the class level, and whatever the study phase arrangement of a lesson, there are four things that students need to be able to do with new language. They need to be exposed to it, understand both its meaning and how to construct it, and be able to practice and produce it. The unit then explains how to make these four points possible. This unit covers ow to teach vocabulary, grammatical structures, and language functions. Overall, I feel more comfortable after reading this unit, and I feel as though I understand how to teach these three facets.
