This unit began with a list of the qualities of a good teacher, such as being fair or having good subject knowledge. It then listed the different roles that a teacher can play in the classroom, such as facilitator or manager. Next is a section about learners. There is a list of the qualities of an effective learner, including an ability to ask questions and a willingness to be corrected. Following that is a list of personal factors that affect a student's learning ability, such as nervousness, age, and learning history. The final section of the unit concerns language ability levels.
