This unit covers how to find the correct teaching methods and how it can affect the learners’ experience. Young learners do not learn as fast as older learners. Therefore, patience and an array of activities is required from the teacher. It is important to adopt an approach that does use too many different learning approaches. Otherwise, it will only succeed in confusing the young learners. The learning environment is also important as it can immediately set the tone between students and teacher. In each lesson, it is important to work on each student’s productive and receptive skills. In this unit, I learned that it vital to know when to switch between roles for the sake of the young students.
