This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit I learned that what you include in a lesson plan is very much up to the individual. There is no special way in which a plan must be written. In my opinion I feel more comfortable making notes, writing lesson plans forms is suitable when someone is starting to work in a new school. I do not understimate the importance of lesson planning though, writing down what the teacher expects the students to achieve by the end of the lesson and how you intend to make that possible, helps the teacher to think logically through the stages in relation to available time. I learned most of all that I should find a balance between flexibility and organization, in that way I can respond to the needs of the class.
