this unit is very helpful because it define in detail the materials teachers use in order to make a a lesson more interesting and knowledgeable for students. It also gave me a lot of activities and their examples for me to use in the future. It also outlined and described the advantages and disadvantages of using course books. It also gave me an idea on what to consider if I am going to choose a course book for my students. although it may not be very specific this type of books are very helpful for new teachers like me, because this are resources of tried and tested methods it doesn't mean that I should do everything \"by the book\" but i should also adapt or change things depending on the students level.
