This unit is about the different ways of testing and evaluating students levels and progress.
Firstly we discussed about some of the ways of assessment which include; Tutorials,Evaluation by the students and Tests.
We elaborated more on Tests,we discussed the various forms of tests which include; Placement tests,Progress Tests,Diagnostic Tests,and Practice Tests. We had a look at a sample Placement Test.
Lastly we had a look at some general external examinations which include TOEFL which is an American English examination,TOEIC widely recognized in Japan and Korea,IELTS, and others.
We also had a look at some Cambridge Assessment exams which include Cambridge ESOL, Cambridge International exams and others.
