The unit 19 is about teaching special groups. There is a whole spectrum of the types of groups that you maybe involve them. Through this course I learned five classifications. First classification may be the beginners, second classification is individuals (one to one teaching), around the world like a very large group. Third category is teaching young learners (YL’s). Another category is that of English for specific or special purposes and perhaps the biggest group called Business English (BE’s) and finally a final category is monolingual vs multilingual. I took a look at each of these categories and learned what particular things I specifically need to do for teaching English those special groups.
