Unit 2 discusses parts of speech including: verbs, adjective, nouns, pronouns, and the variants of each. This was a review of content I learned many years ago as an undergraduate student, which I have since applied into my speech and writing; however the logical mechanics were often-times applied intuitively, as opposed to abiding by explicit rules. Therefore, it was surprisingly challenging to recall all of the parts of speech despite having a proficient working knowledge of its mechanics. I feel I now have a reasonable ability to teach this content to students, but would benefit from continued practice in matching and describing the parts of speech face-to-face to develop greater confidence in applying it.
