The theories, methods and techniques within teaching a language are multi faceted. The key within all of the methods is that the students need as much exposure to the language as possible during the class, as well as outside. Teachers can provide the input but a majority of the narrative must come from the student. Creating a comfortable environment allows the students to reduce stress and feel at ease to participate. One of the most significant elements of this unit is the art of engagement. Encouragement from the teacher, to the student, is key to increase a warmer setting, get them all thinking and exchanging verbally. The interest generated in the engage process will guide all of the other class process'.
