This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Pronunciation and Phonology had never been anything I really sat down and thought about. As an native english speaker it is just something that comes naturally. Unit 13 actually helped me to see the intricacies that make up the english language and why we pronounce words the way we do, why certain things are stressed, and how we articulate. As always I enjoyed the teaching tips given to make the lessons more enjoyable. Also I can away from the unit actually being able to concentrate on phonetic script where in the past I had only glanced at it. Unit 13 will be a topic that I will be coming back to a lot because it will not only be helpful to the students but also to myself, to better grasp the topic as a whole.
