In this unit I learned about how to teach vocabulary, grammer, and different functions of the English language. This unit tied in well with the ESA framework by showing how a specific type of lesson could be taught using the framework. It was helpful to see the example lesson plans for the vocabulary, grammer, and function topics.
I think that the biggest challenge will be to determine the type of vocabulary/grammer/functions to teach and when. I understand that it has to do with the level of the students being taught. However, there is such a large amount of topics that can be taught. It would be helpful to know what the most important topics are and the most appropriate level at which to teach those topics.
