I found this unit to be incredibly difficult because I have never been introduced to modals or phrasal verbs in a formal manner. Although I use modals and phrasal verbs in my every day speech, reading, and writing, they have never been defined. In order for me to effectively use modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice in my lessons for my students, I will need to continue on with learning about them myself.This unit teaches ways to evaluate and test students performances. There are several forms of tests available and each depend on what you're trying to evaluate. For example if you wish to determine their aptitude levels then you would conduct a diagnostic test and if you wanted to see their overall understanding of course material that you've been working on then you would conduct regular progressive tests.
