The unit covers a range of special group teaching situations, including children, adult business English, and individual lessons. The requirements for each are different, especially young children, where the teacher role assumes a greater focus in order to keep the children interested because of their short attention span. Business classes are another specialty area, requiring some knowledge of the style of business itself, but the focus remains on the English, not the details of the business. Individual lessons have a number of advantages, but also the disadvantage of loss of group interaction. I believe what you say about the rewards of teaching young children, but I think I'd rather stick to teaching adults!
