This unit gave an overview of various techniques and methods in teaching the English language. Examples of different ways to teach and how to structure lessons. Having a degree in teaching, I can see which methods I have been using and which methods I could possibly be using more. I feel like this module needs to be incorporated into all teaching degrees as it can relate to any subject and any age. The examples or ideas given for the engage, study and activate phases were interesting and I can see how helpful they will be. Feedback has always been high on my list of things that I need to do well and I'm glad to see that this module agrees. So often teachers focus purely on results rather than progress in any form.
