This unit was all about the importance of lesson planning, Particularly in new and inexperienced teachers. I learned about the importance of being flexible in planning, and keeping track of how long each task should take so as to not plan too many things, and not being able to get them done. Also I learned the importance of setting goals and keeping track of the progress of said goals to work on my personal ability as a teacher. It is also important to keep track of more than just the schedule in the plans I should also keep track of what I will need on hand for supplies for each of the planned tasks. Overall I would say this unit taught me a lot about how much thought and planning will need to go into each class.
