In this unit, I learned about the usage, advantages, and disadvantages of various teaching equipment that can normally be found in a language teaching-learning environment. I have had experience in using most of the listed equipment, including the most recent ones like interactive whiteboard and overhead projector. Whatever equipment or aid we have access to use in our classes, we should bear in mind that there should be a balance in their usage. I myself, may hold an entire session using OHP, and in the following lesson I would solely use the blackboard. In this manner, I give variety to my classes, and make the class more 'unpredictable' for the students (which in tern, makes the atmosphere less boring for them).
