THis unit covered the basics of learning the different aspects of the present tense. While there is generally a past, present, and a future tense in English the present tense has its own subcategories. The four categories that were covered in the tense system are the present simple, present continuous, present perfect, and present perfect continuous. After explaining how each tense is used, the material then goes on to show examples on how a teacher may put the activate phase on for each lesson for each particular category of tenses. The examples provided are to help the student such as myself figure out ideas on how to engage the class and overall improve the classroom experience of the students learning English.
