This unit discussed the various roles of a teacher and a learner. When analyzing the various roles of a teacher, many examples were given to illustrate the plethora of personalities a teacher must possess to cater to all students. From being a role model for the students to joining the students in some various activities, I learned that picking a certain teaching styles usually relates to a specific classroom activity. This unit also discusses the qualities of a good learner and the different proficiency levels of students. Students could be beginners, knowing very minimal English. On the other hand, students could possess a wide range of English knowledge and be able to communicate on a plethora of various topics.
