In this unit i learned about the tense system and its four aspects; simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. Each of the tenses were described using four different areas including form, usages, typical student errors and activate stage teaching ideas. Form shows the positive, negative, and question examples of the tense as well as the correct grammatical construction that can be used to identify errors. Usage simply shows when and how the tenses are used. Typical student errors gives the teacher a basic idea of predictable errors and strategies that can be used to fix them. And finally, activate stage teaching ideas teaches how to encourage students to communicate and use the tense during the activities.
