This unit looks at the productive skills, namely speaking and writing. The first part of the unit covers speaking activities, ways to encourage students to speak, and guidelines for a creative speaking activity. The second part of the unit is focused on writing. It talks about the various points that are important when teaching writing classes such as handwriting, spelling, layout and punctuation. I thought it was definitely an interesting and useful unit - especially the links for games at the end is much appreciated. From my own experience teaching students how to write well especially when their native language has a different alphabet proves to be rather difficult. Yet, it never lacks the students in motivation.
