This unit was went over classroom management techniques. The overview was everything from Eye Gestures to Establish rapport with your students. The unit gave practical examples of how to construct groups and how that can impact Student Talk Time (STT) and Teacher Talk Time (TTT). The goal is to reduce TTT and increasing STT for the students. Of course TTT is not bad but when managing the classroom it is important to know which one is appropriate. When I usually do groups in the classroom I tend to not worry about age but with this week activities I can see where that may be wrong. I now know to make sure to look at more factories when arranging group. This unit has given me many such tips in handling the classroom.
