This unit was focused on understanding the aspects of language which are to be taught; vocabulary, grammatical structure and language function. To me this is the words, the proper technique and the communication skills. Lesson plans can then be varied to best suit the part of language being taught. Classroom management and arrangement will also play a role in creating the optimal learning environment for the varying lesson plans.
I feel like I am beginning to tie together many different aspects of the language and how lesson plans and teaching styles will tie together. Once it is all tied together it will require adaption depending on the specific age group, personalities, English level and culture of the students.
