This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit looked at the past tense. I found it very useful to see the similarities between the future and past tenses in terms of their various subsections (simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous). By going over this subsections again it actually help reaffirm my understanding of the future tense. Something I found very useful was the suggested learning activities provided at the end of each subsection. I found the idea of using journal or story writing to help the students get familiar with these concepts particularly interesting. Also the idea of having students work on a C.V or resume to understand the tenses was really interesting and could be a way to promote content and language integrated learning.
