This unit focuses on teaching themes and techniques that can be applied when teaching a particular language point. A wide range of techniques are explored: these include the use of music, songs and chants, what is considered a game and how it is used in the classroom, the use of stories, the use of crafts and arts to stimulate simultaneously both sides of the brain, the use of holidays and seasonal activities. Each of these topics is explained in detail and teaching ideas for young learners are given, also based of the age group and level one is going to teach. The last part of the unit consists of a series of sample lesson plans, which are extremely beneficial as a future reference. Sample materials are also provided.
