This unit talked about different types of learners and teachers, and ways that someone can be a good teacher and a good student. There are different roles a teacher can play, and a good teacher can usually play multiple roles during a class in order to suit the needs of every student. To be a good learner, students have to be open to learning and not worried about making mistakes or having to ask questions. Teachers, to be great teachers, have to make class interesting and allow for optimal chances for students to practice and feel comfortable enough to take risks in English class. Overall, I think learning about the different roles a teacher and student can play was most beneficial for me and my career development.
