The most confusing part about this unit is the phrasal verbs. I didn't even notice there were so many forms of the verbs. I knew the English language was complicated, but never knew it was this difficult. If I get a chance to teach students whose first language is other than English, I would never be able to explain all these difficult forms of verbs. I think it will gradually make sense to the students as they are more exposed or aware of how to say or write in English. There are things that even without explanation, people will be able to catch on. I think knowing about passive and active voice is very important to teach the students. The students need to understand the differences to be able to speak correct English.
