As a teacher, we will need to prepare ourselves to teach at different levels of English. For example, there are young learners in kindergarten, primary and secondary school. There are also people interested in learning English for business use and higher levels (colleges/universities).
Teaching in a classroom full of students is not the same as for teaching individual students. When teaching individual students, the advantages are that there are no mixed levels, the students are motivated, the specifics can be clearly defined, develop a close relationship with the students, etc. The drawbacks for teaching individuals include the followings, some activities are not possible to do, one-on-one lessons are less formal, etc.
