I really enjoyed this unit even though it was challenging for me. I vaguely remember my grammar lessons from grade school. I had a little trouble trying to figure whether or not the word across was a preposition or adverb. The definition of preposition is \"a word governing, and usually preceding, a noun or pronoun expressing a relation to another word or element.\" The definition of Adverb expresses the relation of place, time, manner, cause, and degree. I also enjoyed learning about definite and indefinite articles. (The)definite and (indefinite). Every word in the English language has rules on how it is applied in a sentences. While learning this material I've realize how much I take my own native language for granted.
