What I learned in Unit 5 is that the relationship between a teacher and their students are very important. A good teacher is someone who can adapt to the ability of their student. A good teacher need to be careful in deciding how to arrange the classroom so that the students can be comfortable and want to learn. Teachers are role models for students, therefore a teacher should not show favoritism and treat every student equally. A teacher needs to consider how to give instructions in a way the student would be able to understand and follow the direction. A good teacher also needs to give students the freedom to express themselves and work with other students to increase their vocabulary and confidence in speaking English.
