lesson planning is very important for inexperienced teachers and experienced teachers, alike. There are many types of lesson plans but they all vary depending on the individual. Some experienced teachers will write notes or go in free willed but others will write out a formal plan. Lesson plans are there to help those who want to write out a plan to show objective to the class and the activities needed to achieve those objectives. This makes it easier for the teacher to refer back to the guide to see which activity comes next although it is not necessary for them to stick to the plan. Importantly, a lesson plan serves as a record of what the class has done and which activities and materials have already been used in class.
