This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit was all about conditionals and reported speech. I learned that through conditionals, we learn that conditions need to be satisfied before the consequence (good or bad) can be realized. The unit discussed the 5 types of conditionals, which are: Zero, First, Second, Third, and Mixed conditionals.
The difference between reported and direct speech is that direct speech comes from the primary source, while reported speech comes from a secondary source, so must be \"reported\" to whoever is concerned, appropriately. Reported speech should be reported in a way that respects the integrity of what the original speech was. The unit discussed the necessary transitions to help facilitate direct speech into recorded speech.
