This unit focuses on teaching special groups. Special groups include beginners, private lessons, multilingual groups, children and business English. The unit then briefly touches on the appropriate techniques for teaching each of the groups along with possible problems that would arise. While each of the groups require specific modifications to lessons, material and topics, the groups for the most part can cover the same material/ topic. However, while business groups might need to know about office machinery such as copiers, children might need to so a replacement could be school supplies such as papers and pens. It seems that once a basic outline has been created, it is easy to fit vocabulary and grammar into the outline.
