I found this unit more difficult as I have been out of school for many years and had forgotten most of what I learned about the english language. I have a greater understanding of the intracacies of how sentences should be put together and I look forward to helping and teaching others not only how to speak english but also why they are using the words that they are speaking.This unit is about pronunciation and phonology. It is a most important task when it comes to teaching to take the time and decorticate words into syllables and practice intonation according to the type of sentence and stress (meaning the emphasis on a word or part of a word). The positioning of the tongue while articulating can be most useful to explain to new english users.
