The lesson covered the development of content within an English learner class. The types of content were authentic, created, and course books. Each type comes with its own array of advantages and disadvantages in the classroom. A successful teacher must utilize all three to the best of their ability in order to maintain a continually fruitful learning experience for their students.This unit covered the different parts of speech or more specifically grammar. The most notable ones include, adverbs, adjectives,verbs, prepositions, pronouns, articles, nouns, conjunctions and gerunds. I felt I learnt more about the components within a sentence and why exactly that sentence was created. I now understand every word has a special nuanced meaning within each sentence.
