1. conditional and reported speech is an integral part of spoken English and hence should be well understood by both the teacher and students, in view of this, students can watch news and/or use current issues to build their knowledge and understanding on reported speech forms
2. there are five 5 main conditionals: zero conditional, that is used to refer to actions and facts that are irrefutable. you can use if or when with no change in meaning e.g.. if you freeze water, you get ice.
3. the other conditionals includes: first conditional, second conditional, third conditional and mixed conditional that usually use the second and third conditional forms to refer to hypothetical past action or state and a hypothetical consequence.
