This module gave me an understanding of how important the ESA structure is to the preparation of a lesson. It enables a teacher to put the structure into place in order to get the understanding of construction and meaning, usage, forms and patterns with regards to vocabulary and grammar, also using past tenses. Patchwork planning is my favourite E-S-A-S-A, it has flexibility to really explore and get the students motivated in discussing a task. Such as travel from a holiday brochure. Debating locations they have been too in the engage part, Study using brochures from different destinations - students to discuss amongst themselves choosing a location, activate they tell us why this is the best location, what they did there etc.
