This unit talks about some common problems when teaching in the classrooms. Teachers will usually come across some problems, such as large groups, small groups, new groups, existing groups, different English levels, and etc. It is important to establish good relationship with students and between students no matter what kind groups a teacher will teach in the classroom. Also, there are some activities and techniques that can be used to deal with different situations. For example, when teaching for the first lesson, a teacher can do survey, pass the ball game, need analysis, and etc to establish rapport with students and know the English level of the students so that the teacher can tailor the course to the needs of the students.
