A good teacher has to be an expert in grammar. If he/she makes mistakes and cannot explain the most important things in a teaching language, students will lose a trust. Moreover, students will not be able to improve language skills if teacher is not competent. Even though, I have been a teacher for several years, sometimes I do not know how to explain some parts of grammar. I use intuition in English as in my native language. This lesson helped me to learn the names of such aspects of a sentence as pronouns and adverbs. In addition, I confused such definitions as articles, prepositions and conjunctions. I could call for example the word “but†a preposition. Therefore, this lesson was very important to revise. Thank you.
