When teaching a language it is important for the teacher to provide materials at the level of the students in their class. If a teacher is unable to cater to his/her students then the language learning experience is going to be largely unproductive. By considering the needs and maturity of the student (are they young learners? businessmen? adult beginners?), teachers can craft their lessons to best meet the needs of the language learner. Sometimes, circumstances outside of the classroom might be affecting the language learner - unfortunately, this is typically beyond the teacher's control. In such a scenario it may be appropriate for a teacher to make an administrator aware of the situation so that they might follow up on it.
