1. relative clause is a group of words containing a subject and a verb. there are three categories of clauses: independent clause, dependent clause and relative clause. a relative clause is a dependent clause the modifies a noun. it describes, identifies, or gives further information about a noun. it can also be referred to as to as adjective clause.
2. there are two voices in English, active and passive voice: in passive voice, the object of an active verb becomes the subject of the passive verb. the form is: auxiliary verb `be` plus past participle, the teacher should note however, that the `be` changes form according to the tense e.g. present continuous changes form in passive formation becoming is/are being + past participle.
