This unit covered many different topics. it began by talking about case studies and how they can be used in the classroom. It went into detail on the steps the teacher can take with the students to implement them effectively. It also went into problem based learning and games that can be used in the classroom. Many popular games can be adapted to fit with the lesson of the day. It also described the resources available on the internet and the speech act theory. Moreover, it gave some example lesson plans. I really learned from the whole unit. I learned how to use case studies and what was really new to me was the speech act theory. This concept is so true and useful as you can know the language but still not understand the intent.
