There are numerous tools one can use to aid in teaching students in the classroom. Because there are so many items one can get overwhelmed with what to use, therefore the key lies in being able to utilize the right tool at the appropriate time. For example, using an overhead projector for fill in the blank exercises or reading prompts can aid in student participation in the lesson by eliciting response. As technology advances, the amount of teaching aid one can access also increases but some type of board being in the classroom will always be a standard.
