This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This lesson was a great one because it gave me an inside look into a classroom where a professor was teaching English to nonnative speakers. It was interesting to see the differences between the two videos. The first video was sour from the start, largely due to the teacher's attitude. He made students nervous and intimated by saying things like \"this is easy\" and \"anyone can do it.\" He also failed to explain different ideas such as modal auxiliary verbs. In the second video, the teacher had a much more welcoming and positive attitude, which was reflected in the increased participation by students. Clearly, the best way to teach English as a second language requires a positive attitude and energetic interaction with the learners.
