This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit gave a very good overview of the types of teaching methodologies used throughout history, and did a good job of reviewing what worked well and what didn't given the age and skill level of the classroom. It also does a good job of bringing together all of the observations of various teaching methods and techniques, and gives a great overview and provides good understanding of what methods and techniques to use while teaching English as a Foreign Language. It is helpful to have so many different examples, and to also have a framework to follow with the ESA model. This is extremely helpful in understanding how a classroom or individual should be taught English, especially based off of proven historical data and understandings.
