This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit covers basic grammatical points of modal auxiliary verbs, passive voice grammar form as well as types of relative clauses and phrasal verbs.
I have learnt that using different modal auxiliary verbs can express different meaning (formal or informal/ certainty or uncertainty, obligation or lack of obligation, etc.), and that I can choose which one to use in different situations.
I have also learnt about the usage of the passive voice (when the performer is not important or not known/ to put focus on the object)
About relative clauses, I have learnt that the information given in a defining clause is essential, and vice versa.
I have learnt about 3 basic types of phrasal verbs and how to help the students to use them naturally.
