Unit 13: Teaching Pronunciation and Phonology.
This unit had very helpful diagrams that I will use to help my students understand how the flow of the English language and how to accurately pronounce the words.
The part that was the most difficult for me was translating the phonetic script. Sometimes I would get it other times it would take a long time for me to figure it out. This is important for me because if I want to be able to teach it accurately, so I need to be able to understand it. I have had some of my older English conversation students ask me about a word and they write it out using phonetic script and I would normally struggle and just ask them to try to read it for me. Then, I would decode it from what they verbally said.
