Since I will be taking the additional 50-hour courses in both Teaching Young Learners and Teaching Business English, it was really helpful to get an introduction/overview to those topics in this unit. One thing I wish had been covered a bit more in this unit would be that \"middle\" age group of secondary school students. Middle school and high school students are not on the very young end of learners (and in some countries, they will have already learned some English in school), nor are they yet independent adults/working professionals. Personally, I would really like to teach that age level. Hopefully I will be able to combine the best of both worlds, and use/adapt suitable techniques for teaching children as well as teaching adults.
