This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
A lesson plan is a teacher's detailed description of the course of instruction for a lesson. A daily lesson plan is developed by a teacher to guide class learning. Details will vary depending on the preference of the teacher, subject being covered, and the needs of the students. Some theorists suggest that lesson planning is not a good idea as it creates a more fixed, teacher centered lesson. It makes the lesson rigid and stops the teacher being flexible to the needs of students. However, for inexperienced teachers it acts as a boon. It also helps them to deal with some language problems that may arise. Lesson planning is important in many ways such as it aids planning and logical thinking, helps to keep on target, acts as a record etc.
