As far as the actual teaching is concerned, what I learned from the most was the patchwork lesson plan example. Seeing the context brought to life in a realistic example is a great tool to have. This unit also got me thinking about the different skills in a language and that it is important to have a balance of all four of them in order to teach effectively.This unit was much more confusing than previous units. I struggled a lot with verb tenses and direct/indirect speech. I will have to study these two more in the future. I am also finding the tables and graphs continually helpful. The teaching ideas were, by far, my favorite part of the lesson. I feel like I get a lot from this section of the text every time.
