Unit 18 discusses Modals, Phrasal Verbs and Passive Voice. It teaches Grammar, Basic Rules (Obligation, Possibility and Probability, Permission and Prohibition, Ability/Advice), teaching ideas, Active/Passive voices, usage, relative clauses, and Intransitive and Transitive Separable and Inseparable Verbs. It also discusses what a good grammar reference book should have in it.In this unit I looked at the most common problem situation that a teacher can come across and to troubleshoot such issues. Basically, I learned the importance of establishing a rapport between students and encounter the problematic behaviours. This unit has suggested a number of activities that a teacher can use to overcome the issues such as questionnaire,game and warmers etc.
